About Us

Set up in 1993, we have grown from 1 dentist and 1 nurse to a team of 8 dentists, two hygienists, 8 nurses 2 receptionists and 2 managers.

As a member of BDA Good Practice we are always highly professional, happy to help and we work to provide our patients with the best possible dental experience.

We have dedicated staff trained on a continued basis, equipment based on the latest technology and a ground floor surgery with full wheelchair access.

Meet the team

Dr Mansour Kangi, Umea Sweden 1998, GDC: 75525 Dr Mansour Kangi is our principle dentist.

Dr Kangi has studied three year in University of Kent in collaboration with the FGDP (UK) for post-graduation Degree in Primary Dental Care and one year in University of Edinburgh for Post-graduation degree in Clinical Education.

He was Vocational Trainer in 2012. He is our resident mentor and guide to all staff, and has a soft manner to put even the most nervous of people at ease.

Dr Kangi works frequently with our anaesthetist offering treatments under sedation. He speaks English, Persian and Swedish.

Dr Arian Vaziri, University of Semmelwise, 2006.  GDC : 107774

Qualified from the University of Semmelwise in 2006 as Doctor of Medical Dentistry. Since then he has been successful in developing his career in Cosmetic and Restorative dentistry. His passion for Restorative dentistry has led him to attended several postgraduate courses to keep abreast of latest techniques, from reconstructive procedures to aesthetic rehabilitation in, Restorative, Cosmetic, Implant, and sedation in dentistry. Dr Vaziri believes Dentistry is constantly evolving, only by continuing to seek more knowledge he can continue to provide the best care for his patients. He treats all his patients with real dedication and adequate time from simple tooth replacement to full Smile Makeovers.

Miss Chantelle Gomes,  Royal College of Surgeons BSc (Hons), BDS.GDC: 212454

has a Diploma of Membership of the Joint Dental Faculties at the Royal College of Surgeons. She enjoys all types of dentistry and has attended advanced courses in aesthetic and restorative dentistry and short term orthodontics. Her patient centred approach will help you feel at ease.

Dr Nehal Patel, DMD Debrecen 2012. GDC number: 231757

Dr Nehal Patel DMD Debrecen 2012. Since 2012 Nehal developed her skills working in the Norfolk and Suffolk area gaining a great deal of experience treating a wide range of patients. Nehal has a keen interest in Preventative and Restorative Dentistry.

Dr Michail Vavalekas, DDM Iasi 2001 GDC: 187491

Michail has been awarded a certificate and Fellowship(Clinical assistant) in Periodontology and Implant dentistry from NYUCD where he gained training and experience from world class leading experts in the field. He has been involved in poster presentations at the Academy of osseointegration. He is also involved in clinical research in periodontology. He is working in our practice since 2010 as Dentist with Special interest in Periodontology and implant dentistry.

Dr. Dominik Nagy,  University of Medicine in Debrecen, Hungary, 2000. GDC: 110755

Dominik graduated as a general dentist in 2000 at the University of Medicine in Debrecen, Hungary. The next 4 years, he worked at the Oral, Neck and Maxillofacial surgery department in Saint Rokus Hospital. As a result of further professional training, he qualified as a dental and periodontological specialist in 2002 and dento –alveolar surgeon in 2006.

Mr Suki Soon, University of London. GDC number: 64042

Mr Suki Soon Qualified from the University of London in 1988 and has worked with various hospitals in Oral Surgery. Suki has completed BUOLD21C modules in Periodontology, Oral Surgery (1&2), Conscious Sedation, Denture Prosthodontics and Business Management.Dr Soon was awarded DPDS by the University of Bristol in 2016

Dr Hossain Faghany, Dental Surgeon. GDC number: 78378

Dr Faghany qualified from Aarhus in  1998 (Tandlaege Aarhus 1998)


Vicky King, Hygienist. GDC number: 178678

Vicky is our specially trained hygienist. Always very friendly and kind, Vicky will professionally clean your teeth, show you how to maintain healthy gums and teeth at home and also give advice on diet and preventing decay.

Bernice Rai, Hygienist. GDC number: 3443

Bernice has gained a wealth of experience by treating patients and working with Professionals in Private Dental Clinics. Bernice is an understanding and caring person who treats the patients as a whole and works with a gentle yet thorough technique to ensure complete gingival health


Lisa Southernwood, Dental Nurse. GDC number: 138844

Dental nurse and assistant manager. Lisa joined in 2010. She works as our bubbly nurse and receptionist. Lisa volunteers for St. Johns ambulance in her spare time and is a prominent singer in her local church choir.

Sue Davies, Decontamination Nurse. 

Dental nurse Sue joined in 2007 and is focused and organized in a manner we all envy.

Krystle Kalemadu, Dental Nurse. GDC number: 273302

Dental nurse Krystale joined the team in 2014. She is nurse to Dr. Pourvaziri she can put people at ease and help them feel comfortable and relaxed during their visit.

Hannah Fairbairn, Dental Nurse. GDC number: 162439.

Dental Nurse Joined us in 2014 She enjoys getting to know her patients and always gives them a friendly welcome. she normally works with Dr Haghri.

Clinical Manager and Head Nurse, Sam joined Mile End Dental Clinic in 2005 and is the nurse for Dr. Kangi. Sam is always friendly, happy to help and very professional.

Make A Dentist Charity

We do something amazing: we support the national Make A Dentist Charity (MAD) and help 'Recycle Educational Resources' MAD is a charitable campaign which aims to support the practical and theoretical education of dental students in Zimbabwe by providing dental material and equipment support.
